Who We Are
We are a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for equitable healthcare and empowering individuals in rural and underrepresented communities who are living with chronic diseases and invisible neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Founded by a chronic illness patient, Beyond Visible was born from firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those living with chronic and invisible conditions. This personal perspective drives our commitment to transforming lives through support, advocacy, and access to care.
Our mission is centered on key pillars of support:
Patient Navigation: Guiding individuals through the complexities of the healthcare system to ensure they receive the care they need.
Research Promotion: Championing advancements in medical research to enhance understanding and treatment of chronic and invisible conditions.
Early Detection and Accurate Diagnosis: Emphasizing the importance of timely and precise diagnoses to improve health outcomes.
Support for Treatment Adherence: Providing resources and encouragement to help individuals stay on track with their treatment plans.
We believe that everyone deserves a journey marked by hope, dignity, and an improved quality of life. Through our work, we strive to break down barriers to care and create a brighter future for those we serve.
